Photo Styling for Food & Wine Magazine
As a stylist for Food & Wine Magazine I designed shoots from New York to California. Each was its own unique project. These photos appeared in Food & Wine Magazine as part of larger editorials. Many of the details are hand-made or designed by me specific to a piece. Each shoot was an exciting collaboration of talented food stylists, photographers and Food & Wine's Creative Director and Editor in Chief.

Over the past five years I have combined my love for style and architecture designing award winning kitchens at Studio Snaidero that have been published internationally. Most days I can be found working on new interior designs in the South Norwalk Studio.

Design
At the root of all my projects lies my love for design & craft. Although I use computers daily as a tool, I try and do as much sketching and making by hand as I can.I continue to refine my skills at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center in CT. Currently my advanced studies are in jewelry and ceramic design.

Lauren Fister styles contemporary interiors and events throughout Connecticut and New York. Along with interiors she specializes in modern interior design with Studio Snaidero. Identifying trends in fashion, interiors, color, textiles and lifestyle Lauren translates them into homes, exquisite parties and into magazine pages. Lauren has passion for combining textures and color of industrial materials with the styling of tailored pieces and fine finishes.
As a former style editor at Food & Wine Magazine, Lauren has collaborated with photo crews from coast to coast creating the beautiful, evocative images that inspire the Magazines discerning readers. In addition, Lauren has been a featured guest on CNN, MSNBC, NY1, as well as other local and national television networks sharing her tips, techniques and thoughts on entertaining and living with style. She has spoken about interior design and the use of color at events hosted at Chicagos Museum of Contemporary Art, design centers in New York and interior design stores local to CT.
Before joining the publication, she was a stylist at Martha Stewart Living. In 2002 she earned her BFA in Industrial Design from Rhode Island school of Design. While in school Lauren gained invaluable experience and hands on training in fine woodworking and metalsmithing that has heightened her eye for quality and attention to detail.
